My Volunteer Work
In addition to my personal IT projects, I have volunteered my tech skills to support local organizations including WUBC, NMCT, and Big Rock. This has allowed me to apply my technical knowledge in real-world scenarios and give back to the community, helping local organizations run smoothly and securely.
WUBC
Provided IT support and maintenance for their systems and events. This included troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up temporary networks for events, and ensuring reliable system operation during critical activities.
NMCT
Provided troubleshooting, network setup, tech guidance, and maintenance for their systems and events. My role involved diagnosing connectivity issues, configuring network equipment, advising on technology purchases, and performing regular system maintenance.
I also helped plan and install multiple new wireless access points to improve and expand network coverage across their facilities, including an outdoor access point and a dedicated timing access point.
Big Rock
Volunteered at Big Rock, providing technical support for their facilities and operations. This included assisting with their network infrastructure and helping to install multiple new wireless access points to deliver reliable connectivity across their grounds.
Why I Volunteer
Volunteering allows me to apply my technical knowledge in real-world scenarios and give back to the community, helping local organizations run smoothly and securely. It's incredibly rewarding to see technology make a positive impact on the organizations that serve our community.
